Position Purpose The Real Estate Closer is responsible for ordering, reviewing, and preparing the necessary documents for real estate closings. Primary Responsibilities Review transaction file information for accuracy. Order documents necessary for closing and follow-up to ensure prompt delivery. Review title opinions and coordinate the process of clearing title objections prior to closing. Coordinate information flow between parties involved in a transaction including sales associates, attorneys, sellers, buyers, lenders, abstractors, relocation companies, etc. Prepare, organize and perform a final review of closing documents for submittal 48 hours prior to closing. Collect all required documents and communications with internal and external parties for permanent recording in the transaction file. Maintain individual trust account activity and administer deposits and payouts. Perform follow-up research as needed on situations involving previously closed transactions. Remain current and perform in compliance with real estate regulations and laws. Assist other closers as necessary. Perform other related duties as assigned.
