Responsibilities:We are seeking top talent to join our award-winning Public Equities Securities team as an Analyst. In this role, you will contribute to the success of an investment team by conducting analytical work that leads to superior investment results. While continuing to develop the skills necessary to become a successful equities analyst, you will perform tasks as required by more senior team members. You will also have the opportunity to be a member of an industry leading sector specialist team. The team is responsible for the management of a mutual fund named, the past three years by Lipper Inc., as the Best Global Real Estate Fund based on five year trailing risk-adjusted returns.
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree required.
Preference for MBAs with a finance emphasis and/or individuals progressing toward a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
Two or more years of experience in equity analysis along with additional relevant work experience preferred.
Knowledge of sophisticated investment vehicles, business acumen, analytical, superior judgment with a total rate of return mentality required. Requires working knowledge of computer modeling techniques, strong quantitative financial background, statistics and accounting.
Must be a self-starter and demonstrate an understanding of economics and investment theories.
Travel as needed and required.
